Komposku: an iOS app to help people to learn about composting and monitor their compost.
Hello! I want to tell you my another iOS app project, Komposku. First, I want to introduce my teammates. There are Riestiya Zain Fadillah as a Project Manager and UI/UX team, Alvin Novarian and Jenny Callista as an UI/UX team, Ahmad Zaky Wisnumurti, Adlan Aufar Nourindiaz, Clara Anggraini, and me as an Engineer.

Komposku is an app that help household to learn about composting and monitoring their compost by helping them to make compost based on proper moisture ratio from their organic waste.
We started to develop Komposku from our concern in environmental sustainability. We believe that environmental problems are our responsibility as a human. We started to research environmental problems from journals, papers, and interview some experts from environmental organizations and practitioners from people who are aware of this issue. From the research, we found that one of the solutions to save our environment is to do composting in a proper way.
Next, I take a part in creating user persona, user story, user flow, and information architecture. We need user persona to more know about our potential target users so we can make a solution that fits them, then we created a user story to explain how the app’s feature will be used to answer user’s problems by cases study and before moving to the development process, we create user flow and information architecture.
Besides taking a part in the research process, My team and I created a Lo-Fi prototype to set the view and features in the app. After that, the design team continue to make a Hi-Fi prototype and the other team gave a suggestion if there’s something to add.
As part of the engineering team, I contributed to creating a tutorial page to guide and explain to users how to make compost properly. This page contains material to compost, how to make compost and some tips & trick so users can look at this page if they don’t know about that or they forget when they composting. The component of this section are tableView, collectionView, stackView, and scrollView.

From this project, I learned a lot of things from how to do great research, create user persona, user story, user flow, and information architecture. and improve my coding skills.
